Trung is a highly skilled associate in the Corporate and M&A group within the firm’s Global Transactions practice. Based in Hanoi, Trung has considerable experience in cross-border M&A and project finance transactions in the healthcare, education, renewable energy, retail, technology and real estate sectors.
In addition, Trung has hands-on experience in dealing with commercial disputes and regulatory issues for multinational companies investing in Vietnam. He writes extensively on the subject.
Trung graduated from Hanoi Law University in 2013 and obtained an LLM degree from Harvard Law School in 2017.
He is a member of Hanoi Bar Association. Trung speaks English and Vietnamese.
Prior to joining Freshfields, he worked for a top-tier Vietnamese law firm based in Hanoi. He has also worked for a Vietnamese conglomerate and a US law firm.
