Our construction group is experienced in all contentious and non-contentious aspects of construction projects.
We advise on the construction of real estate developments from every angle, acting for investors, developers, owners, occupiers, public authorities and funders.
Clients come to us for advice on contracts and associated documentation, insurance arrangements and security (such as bonds, letters of credit and guarantees) and suitable warranties and third party rights in sale and purchase agreements.
Our full-service approach makes sure the end-user priorities are catered for. We address all necessary requirements towards the relevant parties, including phased access, co-ordination with technical fit-out, commissioning/integrated system testing and flexibility to introduce changes.
In the course of the financial crisis, we have helped a number of developers raise capital or restructure uncompleted developments to keep their projects on track.
We make sure the contractual arrangements reflect project administration procedures to avoid disputes, and we assess technical schedules to ensure consistency with contract terms and conditions.
