Richard is an associate in our restructuring and capital solutions team based in Hong Kong. Richard has experience acting for stakeholders across the capital structure including for debtors, lenders, bondholders, sponsors, directors and liquidators / administrators.
Richard was previously based in our London office and has also spent six months seconded to our Paris office.

- Advising various Chinese real estate developers on the restructuring of their offshore debt obligations, including by way of schemes of arrangement and restructuring plans.*
- Advising ED&F Man, the global agricultural commodities group, on its $US 1.5bn cross-border refinancing, implemented by a UK restructuring plan.
- Advising the RCF lenders to Virgin Atlantic with respect to its restructuring by way of a restructuring plan.
- Advising the lenders under a €4.5bn unsecured facilities agreement with respect to the restructuring of the AccorInvest group.
- Advising Brighthouse, a large rent-to-own business, on its entry into administration and the subsequent wind-down of the group (incl. compulsory liquidations).
