Steven is a senior associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice, based in New York. Steven’s practice focuses on all aspects and stages of complex litigation, including pre-litigation investigation through appeal. He has represented a range of clients, from international banks and Fortune 500 companies, to technology start-ups and individuals, in matters involving contractual disputes, fraud, insurance coverage, securities, defamation, and contested wills. Steven has practiced in state and federal court, along with various arbitral tribunals. Throughout his career, Steven has also maintained an active pro bono practice, working alongside organizations such as the Innocence Project, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the New York Civil Liberties Union.
Prior to joining Freshfields, Steven was an associate in the litigation department of multiple large, international law firms, where he maintained a broad litigation portfolio.
Steven previously served as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Julio M. Fuentes of the United States Circuit Court for the Third Circuit.
